There's nothing James from Silvery likes more than playing you his favorite tunes.
He REALLY likes it.
These can range from current indie disco fare through Britpop's more punky moments to film soundtracks and lounge to classic Glam Rock and retro obscurities.
Obviously he tailors it to suit the situation, but basically, no one currently stepping into DJ booths across the country will play tunes like these - most definitely NOT aimed at posed indie coolness, or a clueless promoter filling in the gap between bands.
Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines, The Sound Gallery, Suede (1992 - 1995), Blur (1991 - 1995), Bowie and his chums, Queen, Willy Wonka, TV Themes and amusing jingles, Sparks, Cardiacs and pronk oddness, Danny Elfman, TOTP2 fare like The Move and The Kinks, a little SKA, obscure ABBA, Noughties pop and indie like that Franz lot and those Liber-wotsits, Fierce Panda's 90's sides and the like, NWONW, something he just found the other day in a bargain basement, something he taped off the radio years ago and doesn't know what it is, Easycore. Loads really. He doesn't like to play hippity hoppity shit.
And that's a guarentee.
